No.8 Hillcote Lodge, a single-storey lodge, has an open-plan kitchen, dining area and sitting area with electric fire, a king-size bedroom with TV and en-suite, twin twins, and a shower room. Appliances consist of a double electric oven, gas hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, washing machine, and Smart TV. Outside there is a wrap-around, decked veranda with furniture, and off-road parking for three cars. One well-behaved dog welcomed, but sorry, this is a smoke-free home. WiFi, fuel, power, bed linen and towels are all included in the price. You'll find a shop in 4.4 miles and a pub in 2.2 miles. Take to the Cumbrian countryside at No.8 Hillcote Lodge. Aspatria is a small town in west Cumbria which has had a settlement there for over 3000 years. The town is located on the site of an old Roman road and is known for its 19th century St. Kentigern church. Lying just 5 miles from the coast and on the edge of the Lake District National Park, Aspatria is a superb base for discovering the Cumbrian countryside. It has a railway station and a number of shops and pubs. Just a few miles to the north is the market town of Wigton which still holds a market each Tuesday in the covered market hall. Wigton is a popular centre for shopping, pubs and restaurants, and also boasts a theatre, bowls, swimming, tennis and other sports. The port town of Silloth is just a few miles away and has a wide range of amenities. Aspatria is a wonderful location for a memorable Cumbrian holiday.
