Town Farm

Town Farm consists of a kitchen/diner with an electric oven, gas hob, microwave, fridge with ice box, washing machine, and dishwasher, a sunroom lounge with Smart TV, a dining room with woodburning stove, a second lounge with woodburning stove, and a games room with table football and ping pong. The bedrooms include three doubles and a master double, serviced by a bathroom with bath, separate shower, basin, and WC. Outside, there is an enclosed rear garden with lawn, patio, furniture, firepit, and outdoor pizza oven, along with off-road parking for multiple cars. Well-behaved dogs are welcome. Sorry, no smoking. WiFi, fuel, power, bed linen and towels are all included in the price. Town Farm is a fantastic base for exploring Suffolk.

Also Framlingham and its Castle is very much worth a visit with lots of events throughout the year. For railway enthusiasts, the Mid-Suffolk Light Railway is nearby. This heritage railway offers a nostalgic journey through the Suffolk countryside, allowing passengers to experience the charm of a bygone era; be sure to check for opening times. When it comes to dining and entertainment, the Black Horse Inn Thorndon is a popular spot, known for its warm and welcoming atmosphere. With a wide selection of beverages and a menu featuring both classic pub dishes and contemporary offerings, this charming inn is the perfect place to unwind after a day of exploring. The Beaconsfield Arms in Occold (with limited opening hours) is an inviting pub that serves up meals in an old Suffolk pub, originally known as the Beer House and dating back to 1844.
