Barn Owl is a wonderful base resting on the outskirts of the market town of Louth. It comes with two bedrooms, comprising of a double bedroom and a twin bedroom, together sleeping up to four people. On the first-floor you will find a cloakroom, whilst the ground-floor houses a bathroom with a shower over bath, basin and WC. Completing the interior is a sitting/dining and a kitchen with electric oven and hob, microwave, washing machine. Outside, there is a private courtyard and off-road parking, as well as shared use of a barbecue and garden furniture. Barn Owl is a superb base for exploring this wonderful part of the country.
When ready to discover the very best that the area has to offer, grab your walking boots and head for the Lincolnshire Wolds – a designated Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty; or nearby Hubbard’s Hills. You can enjoy a beach day at any time of year on the vast beaches of the Lincolnshire coast – Theddlethorpe or Moggs Eye are good places to start. For something a bit more lively try any of the well-known coastal resorts – Cleethorpes, Sutton-on-Sea and Skegness. A 45 minute drive takes you to Fantasy Island theme park at Ingoldmells, where you can ride thrilling rollercoasters or just enjoy the faces of your family and friends riding them! The Georgian market town of Louth is a hidden gem. The town is blessed with a wide range of independent shops and eateries. For something cultural, visit the Louth Museum, or take a look round the impressive medieval parish church with its famous spire.Nature lovers will love local nature reserves at Red Hill, Snipe Dales, and the internationally important Donna Nook and Gibraltar Point reserves. All the family will love exotic menagerie at Woodside Wildlife Park. A visit to Lincoln is a must.
