The ancient riverside village of Kinver, steeped in history, lies in beautiful Staffordshire countryside on the Worcestershire, Shropshire border. Boasting many ancient black and white buildings this charming village has many amenities, with individual shops to suit all tastes, traditional pubs, restaurants, tea rooms and its very own award-winning brewery! Kinver is overlooked by the impressive Kinver Edge, a sandstone ridge covering 300 acres and offering impressive views of the surrounding countryside, as well as evidence of Iron Age hill forts and cave-houses occupied until the mid 1900's. Nearby Stourbridge, famous for its glass making, has many lovely parks while Bewdley, once described as 'the most perfect Geogian town in Worcestershire', sits on the banks of the River Severn, close the medieval Wyre Forest with its many walks and cycle routes, and offers a good choice of pubs and cafes along the riverside as well as many tiny shops, antique and art galleries. Also close by are some of the best attractions in the country, including The Severn Valley Railway, the West Midland Safari Park, Cadbury World and the Black Country Living Museum, Ironbridge Gorge or the Royal Air Force Museum at Cosford. Excellent walking and biking can be enjoyed along the Staffordshire and Worcestershire or Stourbridge canals, both a haven for wildlife or why not visit one of the many country parks, great houses or museums in the area? The beautiful Malvern Hills, Shakespeare's Stratford-upon-Avon, Warwick with its magnificent castle, Ludlow, Bridgnorth and the many unspoilt Cotswold villages and towns make a great day out for all the family.

Towering cliffs stand next to vast stretches of golden sand, whilst vast mountain ranges cradle cool, low-lying lakes. The Galway region epitomises the term ‘great outdoors’; with fantastic walking and cycling and exhilarating water sports.
