Quietly nestling amidst the stunning Norfolk countryside, the ancient town of Hingham boasts two village greens, a pub serving good food, and a number of independent amenities including a variety of shops, along with an array of Georgian architecture not to be missed. Previously the home of Samuel Lincoln, whose direct descendant was Abraham Lincoln, this quaint town is home to a 14th century church where you can view a bust of the former President himself. The historical town of Wymondham, with its ancient abbey and original stone cross and nearby Watton both offer great shopping and a weekly market, whilst nearby Norwich is rich in culture, history and the arts. There’s plenty of great walking, cycling and wildlife watching opportunities in the surrounding area and combined with great fishing, several easily accessible golf courses and both motor racing at Snetterton and horse racing at Fakenham, this fabulous location has plenty to offer at any time of year.
Picturesque rolling Fens, unspoilt beaches, and pretty waterways – East Anglia is a dream holiday destination. Norfolk offers beaches, saltmarshes and quaint villages whilst equally as charming are the coast and countryside of Suffolk.
