Brampton is a scattered village in rural Suffolk, ideal for walking and cycling, and with the market towns of Halesworth and Beccles nearby. A short drive and you are at the picturesque heritage coastal town of Southwold, with its unique traditional harbour where you can purchase freshly-caught fish, or sample the local fish & chips. The harbour also offers lovely walks, a harbour shop and an excellent pub. The beach has an attractive small pier, beach huts, a lighthouse and Gun Hill, with cannons pointing out to sea. This small market town offers a variety of museums, one of which is an Amber museum, as well as galleries, independent shops and small weekly markets on Mondays and Thursdays. Further along the coastline are Dunwich Forest and Dunwich village, Westleton Heath and Minsmere RSPB Nature Reserve. The city of Norwich is just 24 miles away, and Ipswich is 34 miles, and both offer places of interest and excellent shopping facilities.

Impressive mountains, open fells and clear-water lakes, the Lake District has it all. From walking in the mountains to exhilarating watersports or just a gentle cruise on a steam-powered yacht, Cumbria is the perfect holiday destination.
