Woodbine Cottage consists of a kitchen/diner with range oven, gas hob, fridge/freezer, and dining seating for four people, utility cupboard with washing machine and tumble dryer, and sitting room with woodburning stove and TV. The bedrooms consist of a double with en-suite cloakroom and a twin, serviced by a bathroom. WiFi, fuel, power, starter pack for woodburning stove, bed linen, and towels inc. in rent. Outside, there is an enclosed garden with patio, gravelled area, and furniture, as well as roadside parking with nearby pay and display car parks. Two well-behaved small dog welcome, or one large dog. Sorry, no smoking. Enjoy all of this and more with a stay at the welcoming Woodbine Cottage. Lying on Yorkshire's spectacular Heritage Coastline, Sandsend is the ideal place for a family holiday with its award-winning, wide sweeping beaches, rock pools and dramatic cliffs. Indeed, this part of the coastline is known locally as the Dinosaur Coast because of the many fossils found here. Children will enjoy damming the little beck where it crosses the beach to form a freshwater lagoon - great (and safe) for paddling and boating! For the more energetic the village sits on the lovely long distance Cleveland Way Trail, which offers great off-road cycling along the disused coastal railway as well as breathtaking clifftop walks. The National Trust now own the nearby headland, Sandsend Ness, where there is a delightful nature trail in the old quarry pits. A special place offering something for everyone!

The North York Moors National Park covers 554 square miles, with landscape ranging from heather-clad moorland and deep secluded dales, to the cliffs and coves of the magnificent coastline making it a haven for walkers.
