Lodge 13, a lodge, consists of a kitchen with oven, hob, microwave, kettle, and toaster and a living/dining room with TV and dining seating for nine guests. The bedrooms consist of a king-size with en-suite shower, double with en-suite shower, two ground-floor twins, and a ground-floor single serviced by a bathroom. Fuel, power, bed linen, and towels are included in the rent. Outside, there is a private rear decking with a hot tub and furniture. One well-behaved dog welcome. Sorry, no smoking. The town hosts two regular markets; a farmers and a street market. A significant number of buildings in the town centre date back to the late 1700s or early 1800s and are listed. The old town has been designated as a Conservation Area. The gently rolling landscape and picturesque villages prove a magnet for cyclists, walkers and wildlife lovers, with the Viking Way many quiet trails and country lanes to explore.
