Teach Ards offers a kitchen/diner with gas double oven, hob, microwave, fridge, dishwasher, and electric fire, plus a utility with washer, dryer, and freezer. The sitting room has a Smart TV with satellite, electric fire, and books. Bedrooms include a super-king, one king-size, a ground-floor accessible double with en-suite, and a twin. There’s also a bathroom with walk-in shower, and a cloakroom. Outside features private driveway parking and front/rear lawns. Shop 0.3 miles, pub 0.2 miles. WiFi, fuel, power, bed linen, and towels included. One small, well-behaved pet welcome (no large dogs). No smoking. Located on a working sheep farm—dogs must be on a lead. Oil-fired central heating is on a timer.

For those who prefer two wheels to two feet, the Beara Kilgarvan cycling route passes through the village. Eight miles away is the town of Kenmare, filled with restaurants, craft and art shops, and pubs playing traditional Irish music. Nearby Kenmare Bay is 30 miles long, and offers watersports such as sailing and kayaking, or cruises on the “Seafari” to take in the Kenmare Seal Colony.
