There is a bathroom with freestanding bath, walk-in shower, basin, and heated towel rail, and WC. WiFi, fuel, power, bed linen, and towels are included in the rent. Travel cot and highchair available. Outside, there is a private rear garden with patio, gravelled area, and lawn. Off-road parking for 3 cars. One well-behaved dog welcome. Sorry, no smoking. Lowick is a small village, nestled within the South Lakeland district of the English county of Cumbria. This charming village plays host to panoramic views of The Coniston Fells and Lowick Beacon, a community hall and the Red Lion pub. From here you will have access to superb walks and mountain biking, such routes include the Coniston Old Man and Wetherlam, and the woodland walk of Grizedale Forest. Further afield, is the Windermere Lake, which is surrounded by mountain peaks and a number of villages to explore. Whilst here, you can take a boat trip to explore the mountain scenery, secluded bays and wooded islands, whether it be a 45-minute trip or a 3-hour cruise. If you fancy some retail therapy, then a trip to Ulverston market town is a must, as you will find a good selection of independent shops, local businesses, cafes and pubs to enjoy, in addition to attractions including the only Laurel and Hardy Museum, Coronation Hall and the Ford Park. All-in-all Lowick is a delightful base, to explore the stunning area.
