Moorhaven

Moorhaven consists of a kitchen/diner with microwave, fridge, freezer, dishwasher, washing machine, and dining seating for six people, sitting room with TV and woodburning stove, and a utility. The bedrooms consist of a super-king size with en-suite bathroom, king-size with en-suite shower room, and twin with en-suite shower room. Outside, there is an enclosed rear garden with lawn and furniture, along with off-road parking for one car, with ample roadside parking available. One well-behaved dog welcome. Sorry, no smoking. You'll find a shop in 2.9 miles, pub in 0.1 miles, and river in 0.5 miles. WiFi, fuel, power, starter pack for woodburning stove, bed linen, and towels are inc. in rent. Moorhaven is a lovely base for a Devon getaway. Note: Logs for woodburning stove provided by owner at 5 GBP per bag. Note: Dogs are permitted in the kitchen/dining area only. Whiddon Down has a fine pub, it's just minutes away from Okehampton which is one of the main gateways to Dartmoor, and in the other direction rests Chagford. A picturesque town at the northern point of Dartmoor National Park in Devon, Chagford is small in size but is packed with amenities and things to do. There is a wide range of shops and cafes as well as four pubs. Chagford also has more active facilities such as a public tennis court and a seasonal, open-air swimming pool to enjoy at your leisure. Its wonderful setting, beautiful 15th and 16th century buildings, stylish independent shops, arts and crafts, world-class festivals and restaurants make it an absolute must-see for any visitor to Dartmoor.
