The bedrooms consist of a king-size, second-floor double with en-suite shower room, and single (available on request), serviced by a bathroom and cloakroom. WiFi, fuel, power, bed linen, and towels inc. in rent. Outside, there is an enclosed courtyard with patio and off-road parking for one car. One well-behaved pet welcome. Sorry, no smoking. The charming market town of Lymington is situated on the west bank of the Lymington River at the western end of The Solent, at the southern edge of the New Forest National Park. As well as being a favoured sailing resort, there are also regular ferry links to the Isle of Wight. The town boasts an array of interesting boutiques and craft shops, or you can treat yourselves to a meal at one of the numerous local restaurants. Lymington is surrounded by an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, from the heathlands and ancient woodlands of the New Forest to the coastal nature reserves which extend for 5 miles culminating in the shingle spit which is home to Hurst Castle, built in 1554 by Henry VIII. Lymington provides an excellent touring base from which to explore the New Forest, the Isle of Wight and the Hampshire coast.
