Driftwood, a charming semi-detached house, consists of a kitchen with microwave, fridge, dishwasher, kettle, electric oven and hob, and freezer, a utility with washing machine and tumble dryer, and a living/dining room with Smart TV, woodburning stove, and dining seating. The bedrooms consist of a king-size, twin, and bunk. There is a bathroom with bath, walk-in shower, basin, and heated towel rail, and WC, and shower room with walk-in shower, basin, and heated towel rail, and WC. You'll find a shop and pub in 0.9 miles and a beach in 0.2 miles. WiFi, fuel, power, starter pack for woodburning stove, bed linen, and towels are included in the rent. Outside, there is an enclosed rear lawn with picnic bench and barbecue, along with off-road parking for three cars. Two well-behaved pets are welcome. Sorry, no smoking. The pretty village of Embleton is ideally placed for exploring one of the most attractive stretches of Northumberland's Heritage Coastline. A beautiful grassy path runs from the village to neighbouring Craster, alongside the sea and past Dunstanburgh Castle - the largest ruined castle in Northumberland. Embleton itself has a village pub and a local hotel, and there is an excellent range of amenities in nearby Alnwick. The gardens at nearby Howick Hall are open during the summer and are noted for their beauty, whilst Alnwick Castle and Garden are a 'must-see' when visiting the area. For the keen golfer, Dunstanburgh Links Course is about 1 mile away - just one of several excellent courses in the vicinity.
