The Gables

The Gables consists of an open-plan living space including a kitchen with AGA cooker, microwave, fridge/freezer, dishwasher, a dining area, a sitting area with TV and woodburning stove, an additional sitting room with TV and woodburning stove, and a conservatory/dining room. The bedrooms consist of a double and two king-sizes. There is a bathroom with freestanding bath and walk-in shower. WiFi, fuel, power, starter pack for woodburning stoves, bed linen, and towels are included in the rent. Outside, there is a garden with patio, gravel, lawn, and furniture, plus private, off-road parking for three cars. Two well-behaved dogs welcome, but sorry, strictly no smoking. Nether Stowey is a village found in the county of Somerset, near the Quantock Hills which is an AONB. The older part of the village is in a conservation area, with a long and interesting history and wide range of architecture, with the oldest buildings being nearly of medieval origin, now carefully restored. The village is home to three pubs and a collection of shops, including a butchers and a small restaurant. The village is also famous for its links with the romantic poets Samuel Taylor Coleridge and William Wordsworth. Nether Stowey is a pretty village perfect for a break away to take in some local history and explore the Somerset headland.
