The bedrooms consist of a first-floor double and a ground-floor twin, serviced by a first-floor bathroom, and a ground-floor shower room. Outside there is a garden with furniture, plus off-road parking for one car. Within 0.1 miles you will find a shop and a pub, and please note this is a smoke-free property. Tideswell, with its renowned Tideswell church, known as the ‘Cathedral of the Peak’ is just four miles from Bradwell. The picturesque village of Castleton is three miles away, home to fascinating caves, including the Blue John Cavern, and is overlooked by the crumbling Mam Tor or 'Shivering Mountain'. The dramatic scenery of Winnats Pass and Edale in the Edale Valley, famous as the start of the Pennine Way, is nearby. Hathersage is just four miles away and has excellent cafes and an open-air, heated swimming pool. Slightly further afield you can potter around the historic market town of Bakewell, or the Spa town of Buxton, renowned for its spring water, opera house and arts, jazz and opera festivals. It is easy to spend a whole day at Chatsworth House and Haddon Hall, whilst there are many historic properties nearby. Pull on your boots and enjoy the spectacular scenery, or explore a web of cycling trails, with bike hire available on the Monsal Trail, the Tissington Trail and at the Derwent Reservoir.
