Harrington Cottage in Marske-By-The-Sea sleeps four in two bedrooms.
Harrington Cottage consists of an open-plan living space including a kitchen, dining area and sitting areas which have an electric oven and hob, washing machine, dishwasher, TV and dining seating. The bedrooms include a super-king-size and a twin which are both serviced by a bathroom with bath, shower over, basin and WC plus a cloakroom with basin, heated towel rail and WC. Outside, there is enclosed courtyard to the rear of the property with seating area and village parking and electric car charging point available close to the cottage. Three well-behaved pet welcome. Sorry, no smoking at this property. Guests can find a shop and a pub within 0.1 mile. WiFi, fuel, power, bed linen and towels are all included in the price. Harrington Cottage promises a wonderful stay for you and your loves ones. Note: The Coffee Machine has now been replaced with a pod machine, and the owner will supply a few pods to start.
Marske-by-the-Sea is a small, bustling coastal village with long, wide, sandy beaches. Originally an old fishing village, today it has a selection of local shops and pubs, which cater for all the family, plus the safe, sandy beaches, sand dunes and fishing boats are an enticing attraction. Places of interest nearby include Captain Cook's birthplace, the mining museum, and the Zetland Lifeboat Museum. Within easy reach of this quaint village is a horse riding centre, the stunning scenery of the North York Moors, through which runs a steam railway line, and the numerous pretty inland villages and fishing villages including Staithes and Runswick Bay. The old Victorian spa town of Saltburn is just 3 miles away and it's an easy drive to other seaside resorts such as Whitby. A great base from which to tour the area.
The North York Moors National Park covers 554 square miles, with landscape ranging from heather-clad moorland and deep secluded dales, to the cliffs and coves of the magnificent coastline making it a haven for walkers.
