Green Yew in Winster, Cumbria sleeps twelve guests in six bedrooms.
Green Yew consists of two open-plan living areas with a kitchen, dining and sitting area with woodburning stoves, dining seating, a range cooker, oven, hob, fridge, kettle and toaster in each with one having a coffee maker. The bedrooms consist of a king-size (zip/link can be twin on request) with TV and en-suite, two king-size rooms (zip/link can be twin on request), a twin, another king-size and a family room with two doubles. There is a Bathroom with bath, hand-held shower, walk-in shower, basin and WC, a shower room with walk-in shower, basin and WC, a ground-floor shower room, a ground-floor bathroom and a Cloakroom with basin and WC. Outside, there is a private patio by the barn conversion and access to two acres of garden plus private driveway parking for six cars. Sorry, no pets and no smoking. The World of Beatrix Potter Attraction and the Old Laundry Theatre are 1.5 miles away. Orrest Head, where Alfred Wainwright was inspired to write his series of iconic guidebooks, is a 30-minute walk to enjoy the spectacular panorama of far-reaching views over the lake and surrounding fells. Brockhole, which offers high wire tree top experiences, is three miles away, and the historic villages of Grasmere, Ambleside and Troutbeck are a short drive away.
