Ebrenn, a single-storey lodge, consists of a kitchen with electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, washing machine, dishwasher, kettle, and toaster, a dining room with dining seating for four, and a sitting room with TV. The bedrooms consist of a double and twin. There is a shower room with walk-in shower, basin, heated towel rail, and WC. Outside, there is an enclosed rear courtyard and lawn, patio, hot tub, and furniture, and off-road parking for one car. Two well-behaved pets welcome. Sorry, no smoking. Tintagel, home of the legendary King Arthur’s Castle, whose ruins dominate the cliffside just outside the village, is a popular but not overcrowded tourist destination, surrounded by the sea, rocky coves and stunning scenery. Several beaches, including nearby Trebarwith Strand and Bossiney Cove, are within easy reach and surfing is the main attraction for those who love the water. Tintagel has several pubs and restaurants and the Old Post Office (National Trust) is a must. For the energetic, the South West Coast Path passes through the village and in both directions it winds its way along the cliffs and down to the water’s edge through dramatic countryside. Head north along the path and within a short distance is the beautiful village of Boscastle with its quaint quay and village pubs for refreshment. Further afield are the surfing meccas of Newquay and Bude, with their resort attractions, while the open spaces of Bodmin Moor, the Eden Project, Padstow, Camel Estuary and Port Isaac are all within a short but scenic drive.

Cornwall’s visitors are constantly tempted back to the beautiful coastline, tiny fishing villages, hidden coves and the world-class surfing. Whatever the reason, Cornwall has long cemented its place as one of Britain’s premier holiday destinations.
