Gildridge has a kitchen/diner with a range-style oven, hob, microwave, fridge, freezer, dishwasher and coffee maker, along with dining for up to 20 guests. The sitting room offers ample seating and a TV, with WiFi available throughout. The six bedrooms consist of a king-size, two doubles, a twin and two family rooms each with a king-size bed and sofa bed, served by a family bathroom with bath, shower over, basin, heated towel rail and WC, a further bathroom with bath, basin and WC, a shower room with walk-in shower, two basins, heated towel rail and WC, and a cloakroom with basin and WC. Central heating, fuel, power, bed linen and towels are included in the rent. Outside, extensive grounds include lawns, ponds, a children’s play area, table tennis, pool table, a tennis court, a hot tub, a barbecue, patio and outdoor furniture. There is parking for 4 cars with additional roadside parking available. Four well-behaved dogs are welcome, and smoking is not permitted. A shop lies 2.1 miles away and a pub 1.9 miles away. Gather your favourite people and enjoy a special stay at Gildridge. Note: In keeping with the age of the property, there are low ceiling beams in places so please take care. East Hoathly is a parish and a village in the East Grinstead division of Sussex and also includes the hamlet of Halland, once known as The Nursery until 1891. Both thriving villages offer local pubs and shops, with the King’s Head in East Hoathly being a popular choice by both locals and tourists. Nearby is the popular beautiful market town of Crowborough which is home to many writers, actors and artists who were all inspired by the area’s beauty, including Sir Arthur Conan Doyle famous for the Sherlock Holmes mysteries. Crowborough offers a variety of eateries and shops. Or take a thirty minute drive to Eastbourne, the wonderful seaside holiday location with plenty to do! Further afield is Royal Tunbridge Wells which is the perfect day out in glorious countryside and to visit the natural spring, known as The Chalybeate Spring, which is also believed to be health-giving waters. With a wealth of interesting history to discover, this spa town now offers a vibrant, bustling destination with shops, restaurants, bars, bistros and theatres surrounded by woodland and greenery.
