Bryn Tawel

Bryn Tawel consists of an open-plan kitchen/living/diner with electric double oven and hob, microwave, fridge, freezer, dishwasher, kettle, and toaster, with dining seating for eight people and sitting area with TV, a sitting room with TV and woodburning stove, and a utility with washer/dryer. The bedrooms consist of a king-size with TV and en-suite, two doubles, a ground-floor double, and a twin, serviced by a bathroom, ground-floor wet room, and cloakroom. Outside, there is a non-enclosed side and rear garden with lawn, gravelled area, furniture, and fire pit, with private driveway parking for six cars. Travel cot and highchair available. Three well-behaved dogs welcome. Sorry, no smoking. You’ll find a shop in 5 miles, a pub in 4.2 miles, and a river in 1.4 miles. WiFi, fuel, power, starter pack for woodburning stove, bed linen, and towels are all inc. in rent. Bryn Tawel is a delightful base for a Welsh escape.

Cilgerran is a delightful village with two pubs and a village store near to the popular market town of Cardigan. Situated above the Teifi Gorge, there are walks down to the river and the two castles; the National Trust’s Cilgerran Castle and the romantic ruins of the 13th century castle. Within walking distance are The Welsh Wildlife Centre and Teifi March Nature Reserve, providing fabulous trails along the stunning River Teifi and the chance to explore a rich variety of habitats and enjoy relaxing by the river. Nearby is the Pembrokeshire Coast National Park, Preselli Hills and the stunning coastline of Cardigan Bay.
