The living areas in this single-storey chalet consist of a kitchen with an electric oven and two-ring electric hob, microwave and fridge with ice box, and a living/dining room with Smart TV and electric fire. There is also a double bedroom and a shower room. Outside there is a wrap-around garden with lawn, patio and furniture, and designated parking for one car. Two well-behaved dogs welcomed, but sorry, no smoking. WiFi, fuel, power, bed linen and towels are all included in the price, along with a travel cot. The village of Lizard is situated on the Lizard Peninsula, the most southerly point in mainland England. Lizard offers a village green, small shops, a pub and cafes, with Lizard Lighthouse being the oldest mainland light in Cornwall. Lizard Peninsula is surrounded on three sides by the sea, with the fourth by the still waters of the Helford River, and boasts many golden beaches, cliff tops and coastal villages. Just five miles away is the large village of Mullion, which is home to a selection of popular restaurants, shops and pubs, along with Mullion Meadows Chocolate Factory and coffee shop and Mullion Cove, a pretty working harbour. Within driving distance is the busy market town of Helston, which is most famous for its Flora Day Festival and the many stories and legends about the "Furry Dance" are told in the fascinating Helston Folk Museum. Nearby is the Poldark Mine, one of the best underground experiences in the south west, and further afield is the harbour town of Falmouth to the east and Land's End to the west. Lizard village is a convenient base for a visiting a variety of attractions.
