Situated on the very northern edge of the Dartmoor National Park, Sticklepath is a lovely small village offering an excellent base for walkers and cyclists. Some of the wildest parts of the moors lie within easy walking distance, while the larger town of Okehampton is 3 miles away. Sticklepath is home to two pubs and a village shop, offering all the essentials for a self-catered stay. Nearby attractions include the National Trust's Castle Drogo, Okehampton Castle and Widemouth Bay are a car journey away if you want a change of scenery.
