Within 2.7 miles there is a shop, pub and beach and please note that two pets are welcome but this is a non-smoking property. WiFi, fuel, power, bed linen and towels are all included in the price. The Cumbria Coastal Walk and Allerdale Ramble pass through the village. Links golf is available at Maryport Golf Course and the world renowned Silloth Golf course. A short trip will take you to the historic city of Carlisle, nip over the border to Gretna Green, experience the 2000-year legacy of Hadrian’s Wall or enjoy fun packed days out exploring the beautiful Western Lakes and fells where there is a wealth of things to see and do, including Hadrian's Cycleway where you can take in the stunning views on your journey. The stunning Whinlatter Forest Park, near Keswick is a haven for mountain bikers and walkers and the Go Ape high wire adventure course is ideal for the more adventurous.
