The living areas include a kitchen/diner housing an electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge, freezer, dishwasher, washing machine and tumble dryer, whilst the sitting room has a Smart TV and electric fire. The bedrooms include a king-size and a single, serviced by a bathroom. To the outside is roadside parking and a patio with furniture. Within 0.5 miles there is a shop and pub. Two pets are welcome however, please note this a smoke-free property. WiFi, fuel, power, bed linen and towels are included in rent. Highchair and travel cot available but please bring your own bedding. Choose New Cottage for a lovely base in the Peak District. There is also a day ticket fishing lake around 400 yards from the property. Note: Steep drops in the garden, pets and children to be supervised outside. Note: The property is accessed via a public footpath from the main road, there is no direct access for cars.
Surrounded by stunning countryside, the Historic village of Youlgreave winds its way along a narrow limestone shelf, situated between two of the area's loveliest valleys - Lathkill Dale to the north and Bradford Dale to the south. Once the centre of Derbyshire's lead-mining industry, this charming village now plays home to three pubs, all serving Home Cooked food, two shops (one with a Post Office) and a delightful medieval church. The attractive market town of Bakewell is nearby and offers a good selection of shops, pubs and restaurants, as well as a weekly local market. With the whole of the Peak District National Park on the doorstep, many stately homes to visit including Chatsworth House, Haddon Hall and Hardwick Hall, Kedleston Hall, Clake Abbey offering a great day out. Alton Towers, Britain's premier theme park, is just a short drive away, this great area has plenty to offer!
The North York Moors National Park covers 554 square miles, with landscape ranging from heather-clad moorland and deep secluded dales, to the cliffs and coves of the magnificent coastline making it a haven for walkers.
