The town's castle, built in the 13th century, stands proudly on a rocky ledge, dominating the landscape and providing breathtaking views of Tremadog Bay and the Snowdonia mountains. The two beaches are great for water activities, and those who enjoy hiking or biking will appreciate being so close to the stunning Snowdonia National Park. Take a walk down the shore and spot some porpoises in the water, or unwind in one of the town's many bars, restaurants, or tea rooms while devouring a serving of Cadwalader's ice cream.
