The town of Bruton is situated in the south-east corner of Somerset. Bruton, one of England's smallest towns, is built in the valley of the River Brue and is located between Frome, Gillingham, and Wincanton, with Castle Cary nearby. Bruton is known for its verdant countryside, but it also has an impressive high street with a great selection of shops, pubs, and restaurants where you can stock up on necessities or treat your loved ones to a hearty meal. Visit Bruton Museum and Bruton Dovecote, a former watchtower with commanding views of the surrounding countryside, while Stourhead Gardens and House is an idyllic spot for a picnic.

Somerset offers 3 Areas of Outstanding Natural Beauty - the Quantock, Mendip and Blackdown Hills. Lose yourself in the glory of nature, take a ride on a steam train, visit a traditional farmers’ market or explore your mystical side at Glastonbury.
