The open-plan living space includes an electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, dishwasher, washing machine, Smart TV and dining table. There is a double bedroom serviced by a shower room. To the outside there is an enclosed patio garden with furniture and off-road parking for one car. Within 1.3 miles or less there is a shop and pub. One pet is welcome however sorry, no smoking. WiFi, fuel, power, bed linen and towels are included in rent. Escape to The Cow Shed for a delightful retreat, whatever time of year. Note: Dogs to be kept off furniture and on leads outside. The little village of Oakridge Lynch sits on the edge of the Cotswolds, overlooking the idyllic Golden Valley. The village is home to the well-stocked Ollie’s Shop, providing a selection of an award-winning goods imported from Spain, including cheese, wine, olive oil and ham, whilst there is also an 18th century pub, The Butchers Arms, serving an eclectic menu and selection of ales. The nearby market town of Stroud is well worth a visit, boasting a range of shops, eateries and former textile mills along the valleys, whilst Cirencester is famed for its stunning church and Roman Museum. The valley is home to the magnificent 12 span viaduct which carries the great Western Railway from Gloucester to London and was opened in 1845.
Visitors to the Cotswolds have long treasured memories of charming towns and villages built from the famous honey-coloured stone, it now boasts a thriving community of contemporary artists working from studios and shops throughout the area.
