St Dominick is a quaint Cornish village, overlapping the Tamar Valley AONB, resting between St Ann’s Chapel and Halton Quay. A short journey from the picturesque River Tamar, the village is home to a farm shop, The Who'd Have Thought It Inn pub, and a post office for all the essentials. Nearby attractions include visits to The Tamar Valley Donkey Park, Cotehele, a stunning National Trust working flour mill, and the flowing waters of Cargreen Quay, whilst Saltash offers further activities to consider, including the Mary Newmans Cottage Museum, and its breath-taking waterside, brimming with eateries and shops. The coastal city of Plymouth is reachable by car, home to the Elizabethan Gardens, Hoe Park, the Theatre Royal Plymouth, and the Plymouth Gin Distillery, all worth adding to your itinerary, whilst the Cornish village of Polperro is also a recommended stop off, home to a pretty turquoise cove, Polperro Model Village, and access to the South West Coastal Path.

Cornwall’s visitors are constantly tempted back to the beautiful coastline, tiny fishing villages, hidden coves and the world-class surfing. Whatever the reason, Cornwall has long cemented its place as one of Britain’s premier holiday destinations.
