The Boathouse is an excellent detached house situated in an outstanding location just a few metres from the Aln estuary and sandy beach, with beautiful uninterrupted views overlooking the estuary from its upstairs living room and balcony (bring binoculars!). Its efficient central heating makes the property suitable all year round and is ideal for couples out of season. It benefits from a good sized dog friendly enclosed garden, has private parking and is just a short walk from all the village amenities.

Situated just 4 miles east of Alnwick, Alnmouth is a charming resort popular with golfers and those seeking a peaceful holiday. The village lies on a narrow spit of land between the River Aln and the North Sea and was originally the port for Alnwick. A short drive will bring you to Alnwick with its famous historic castle, The Alnwick Garden housing the Poison Garden which runs guided tours through dangerous botanicals and a variety of pubs and restaurants. Alnmouth is well situated for exploring Northumberland.
