Part of the property was originally built in 1839 with the remainder built in 2007 and now offers family friendly accommodation throughout ensuring guests and their two four legged friends have a comfortable stay. With storage facilities in the garage for golf clubs, bicycles, wellies or muddy walking boots this property will suit the outdoors type looking to explore the local and surrounding areas. Wooler, known as the gateway to Glendale, the Cheviot Hills and the Northumberland National Park is the perfect base for visitors wanting to make the most of our beautiful Northumberland countryside.

Wooler is a delightful, historic market town on the banks of the River Till, one of the tributaries of the Tweed, nestling in the foothills of the Cheviots which form part of the Pennine Way. Known locally as 'The Gateway to The Cheviots', Wooler has a selection of hotels and eating places and offers a magnificent location for exploring the whole of Northumberland and the Scottish Borders. Situated on the edge of the Northumberland National Park, Wooler is just a short drive away from the historic town of Alnwick with its famous Castle and Gardens, and the well preserved Garrison town of Berwick-upon-Tweed. Chillingham Castle with its ancient herd of wild white cattle and Coldstream, just over the Scottish border, are also a short drive away.
Northumberland is a heady combination of fishing villages, market towns, sandy beaches, magnificent castles and historic Hadrian’s Wall, tied together by beautiful countryside and abundant wildlife.
