Located in the peaceful hamlet of Low Hauxley, Beachside is a recently converted annexe integrated within the owners property just a stones throw away from the often deserted beach. Offering modern, well presented comfortable accommodation, it is a perfect hideaway for two people and their four legged friend with some wonderful walks on your doorstep. Beachside also benefits from private parking and a private rear patio with views towards Simonside Hills. Close by is the Hauxley bird reserve that is perfect for keen bird watchers and nature lovers and Coquet Island an offshore bird sanctuary. With the fishing village of Amble nestled a couple of miles north, Beachside offers a stunning, quiet location whilst having all local amenities and comforts within easy reach. ACCOMMODATION ON ONE LEVEL (Ground Floor) French doors into the openplan Lounge/Kitchenette. Comfy 3 seater sofa, wall mounted TV, electric woodburner type stove, bistro style table and 2 chairs. Microwave, Tefal Multi Cooker (great for casseroles, grilling and steam cooking), electric 2-ring Hob, fridge, freezer, kettle and toaster - Halogen oven available on request (space and energy efficient), air fryer & slow cooker. Bedroom with zip and link super King size bed that can be set up as twin beds on request, dressing table, wardrobe, doors to private patio. En suite shower room with shower cubicle, WC, wash hand basin and heated towel rail. OTHER FACILITIES Parking for 2 cars. Private patio to the rear of the property. Gas central heating. All power, linen and towels included in rent. Two medium sized dog welcome.

The hamlet of Low Hauxley is situated at the northern end of Druridge Bay, a four-mile stretch of sand dunes and white sands. Less than two miles away is the seaside port of Amble, which is situated at the mouth of the River Coquet and offers a marina, a harbour, sandy beaches and coastal walks. Just a mile south of Amble is Coquet Island, an RSPB reserve with a large population of terns, puffins and eider ducks, and boat trips around the island can be arranged. The pretty coastal villages of Alnmouth and Craster are only a short drive away, whilst picturesque Warkworth with its castle, charming Alnwick with its castle and award-winning gardens, and the National Trust’s Wallington Hall and Cragside are all within easy reach.

Northumberland is a heady combination of fishing villages, market towns, sandy beaches, magnificent castles and historic Hadrian’s Wall, tied together by beautiful countryside and abundant wildlife.
