Alnmouth is a picturesque village that is approximately 4 miles east of Alnwick and is a popular destination for golfers and people looking for a relaxing holiday. The settlement, which was once Alnwick's harbour, on a short peninsula between the River Aln and the North Sea. The area has been restored to its natural state and is now home to a wide selection of stores, eateries, a world-class "links" golf course, fantastic rivers for fishing, and miles upon miles of beautiful beaches and sand dunes with panoramic views of the North Sea. You may find a wide selection of restaurants and bars in Alnwick, which is only a short drive away from the town's ancient castle and the Poison Garden at The Alnwick Garden.
