The peaceful hamlet of Stockbridge, one of the smallest in the United Kingdom and renowned for its great fly-fishing, is located in the middle of Test Valley halfway between Andover and Romsey. Here you'll find the oldest fishing club in England, Houghton Fishing Club. It is difficult to imagine that the town, which is surrounded by peaceful hills and undulating terrain, was previously referred to as a "rotten borough"; nearby Hampshire villages with charming churches, old-fashioned country inns, and the spectacular Test Way may also be discovered. A poetry trail comprising ten poems, set in stone, metal, and glass, is scattered throughout the town centre.

Hampshire offers a wealth of treasures, from rolling countryside, unspoilt beaches, glorious gardens and pretty villages to ancient forests, bustling market towns, historic ships and imposing castles.
