The living areas in the property consist of an open-plan living area with a kitchen with an electric oven, gas hob, microwave, kettle, toaster, a dining room with seating for four and a sitting room with a Freesat TV and electric fire stove. The bedrooms consist of a double and a twin along with a shower room with a walk-in shower, basin and WC. Outside there is a decking area with furniture and off-road parking or one car beside the house, plus additional parking a short walk from the property. Within 2.2 miles, you will find a shop, and a pub, and please note that this is a pet-friendly, non-smoking property. WiFi, fuel, power, bed linen and towels are all included in the price. The 19th century church, which was constructed on the site of an old chapel, is located in the quiet hamlet of Torver, which is surrounded by some of the most picturesque landscape in the Lake District. Fantastic pubs, a deli, and Undercrag studio & café are all available in Torver. It is well-known locally as a starting place for exploring the neighbouring fells and the Duddon Valley, as well as a fantastic base for visiting the nearby towns of Hawkshead, Ambleside, and Windermere. It was one of Wordsworth's favourite hangouts. Locally, Coniston Old Man, Wetherlam, and the magnificent woodland paths at Grizedale Forest provide excellent walking, mountain biking, climbing, and watersports options. Take a leisurely ride on the stunning Gondola steam boat and explore the acclaimed town of Hawkshead with its amazing Beatrix Potter attractions.
