The ground floor has an open-plan living space with kitchen, dining area and sitting area with electric fire. There is central heating and kitchen amenities include electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge, dishwasher. For entertainment there is a TV, Radio, WiFi and a selection of books. Fuel, power, bed linen and towels are all included. There is a designated parking place. Two well-behaved, small-to-medium size dogs are welcome. Smoking is not permitted. The nearest shop and pub are 0.1 miles away. Note: The street is non-accessible by car, designated parking bay is on nearby residential street. Note: The stairs up to the first floor are steep, please take care. Dodds Nook welcomes two couples or a group of four for a pleasant holiday in the heart of Alnwick.
Alnwick Castle dominates the picturesque and ancient market town of Alnwick. The small alleys have remained mostly unchanged, and the Market Place, with its stone cross, is the town's focal point and excellent location for the weekly Saturday market. Alnwick has a diverse range of shops, pubs, and restaurants, as well as plenty of attractions, including miles of golden sand beaches, multiple castles, and boat tours to the famous Farne Islands.
Northumberland is a heady combination of fishing villages, market towns, sandy beaches, magnificent castles and historic Hadrian’s Wall, tied together by beautiful countryside and abundant wildlife.
