On Kent's South Foreland Heritage Coast, near the world-famous White Cliffs of Dover, you'll find this charming little enclave. It's worth stopping by St Margaret's Bay and St Margaret's at Cliffe, both of which have quaint local amenities like the Dover Patrol Memorial, the Pines Garden Tea Room and Museum, and the eye-catching Foreland Lighthouse. A beautiful shingle beach with rock-pooling chances and a pub selling food overlooking it as well as the house previously occupied by Noel Coward and Ian Fleming can be found at the foot of the cliffs. The starting location for English Channel swimmers is here. Just four miles away, Dover has its famed castle, beautiful seafront, pier, and marina, as well as a plethora of other attractions. While the Kent Downs AONB is just a short distance away for those who enjoy hiking and cycling, a number of other scenic coastal destinations can be found in the immediate area, including Folkestone, Ramsgate and Margate. If you're looking for something new, consider visiting the cathedral city of Canterbury, which is both historically significant and architecturally stunning.

Kent is affectionately known as the Garden of England. Its history and heritage provide the region with a rich array of sightseeing possibilities, while the stunning choice of Blue Flag beaches offer the chance to enjoy the beautiful coastline.
