It's north of Lancaster, 15 miles from the Yorkshire Dales, and a hop and a skip from the Lake District. Greenlands Farm Village has crafts, local products, a playground, café, and garden centre. Tidal sands border Morecambe Bay north of Carnforth. It's a great place to walk and watch birds and wildlife in Lancashire. Kirkby Lonsdale is a charming market town.
