Carnforth is off the M6 and 20 miles south of the Lake District. Many want to uncover this hidden treasure. It's north of Lancaster, 15 miles from the Yorkshire Dales, and a hop and a skip from the Lake District. Greenlands Farm Village has crafts, local products, a playground, café, and garden centre. Tidal sands border Morecambe Bay north of Carnforth. It's a great place to walk and watch birds and wildlife in Lancashire. Kirkby Lonsdale is a charming market town.
