The Nook

The Nook consists of a kitchen with electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, dishwasher, washing machine, kettle, and toaster, and a living/dining room with woodburning stove, Smart TV, and dining seating for four people. The bedrooms consist of a double and twin, serviced by a cloakroom and bathroom. You'll find a shop and pub in 0.1 miles, beach in 0.3 miles, lake in 1.1 miles, and river in 0.9 miles. WiFi, fuel, power, starter pack for woodburning stove, bed linen, and towels are included in the rent. Outside, there is an enclosed garden with lawn, patio, bench and private driveway parking for one car. Two well-behaved pets are welcome. Sorry, no smoking. The Nook offers a splendid retreat, whatever time of year. Note: Good housekeeping bond of 100 GBP.

A short drive takes you to Portland Harbour, and the rugged “Isle” of Portland, linked to Weymouth by the dramatic Chesil Beach. Visit Dorchester, Thomas Hardy’s “Casterbridge”, only 7 miles away, or take a journey along the scenic coastal road and call in at Abbotsbury Swannery and Subtropical Gardens. Alternatively, just head down to West Bay - the views of the stunning Dorset Heritage Coastline are not to be missed!
