This property consists of a kitchen/diner with an electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge, freezer, washing machine, dishwasher, dining seating for four and a sitting room with woodburning stove and TV. The bedrooms consist of a king-size and a twin bedroom, along with a bathroom. Outside, there is an enclosed rear garden with furniture as well as off-road parking for tow cars. WiFi, fuel, power, bed linen and towels are all included in the price. One well-behaved dog is welcome. Apologies, smoking is not permitted. Within 1.3 miles there is a shop and within 1.4 miles, a pub. Woodlands Cottage is charming base to explore the coast and countryside. Two well-behaved small to medium dogs welcome. No dogs are to be left in the property under any circumstance. Please Note: This property cannot accept check in's on Saturdays or Sundays. Snainton, a charming little village at the foot of the North York Moors, is a great base for exploring the popular coastal resorts of Scarborough, Whitby, and Filey. Snainton has two pubs that serve meals, a fantastic riding centre that caters to riders of all ages and skills, and a fantastic children's playground. A driving range with a par 3, 9-hole golf course is nearby, as are numerous walks, cycle trips, and country drives. Visit Scampston Walled Garden, which has a renowned restaurant, or Wykeham, 4 miles away, for a day of fishing, or Dalby Forest, which has excellent walking, mountain biking, and "Go Ape" walks for the more daring! Pickering, with its famed steam railway, castle, and Beck Isle Museum, and York, with its mediaeval city, are both easily accessible.
