The bedrooms consist of two doubles with zip/link beds (can be twins on request) and a single, serviced by a ground-floor bathroom. Outside there is an enclosed rear courtyard and roadside parking. Two well-behaved dogs welcomed, but sorry, no smoking. Highchair and travel cot available on request. WiFi, fuel, power, bed linen and towels are all included in the price. You'll find a shop in 0.1 miles and a pub in 0.4 miles. 63 Wolviston Road is well-positioned for a family break to Durham. Note: Dogs must be kept downstairs.
The grand cathedral town of Durham is just a short drive to the north-west, while the North York Moors are to the south and the coastal town of Hartlepool is located north of the Tees estuary. As a result of significant investment in redevelopment initiatives, Hartlepool now has an award-winning marina with contemporary restaurants and cafes that look out over beautiful boats and seagoing cruisers. A multiplex theatre, a health and fitness facility with a pool, and Middleton Grange, the third-largest retail centre in the area with a typical market hall, are all located in the town's centre. Additional attractions include the Heugh Battery Museum and the HMS Tricomalee, Nelson's final combat frigate. Two miles down the coast is Seaton Carew Beach, which also has a challenging golf course nearby. A short drive will take you to Saltholme RSPB Reserve, where you can frequently see seals and wading birds.
