Western Brecon Beacons National Park borders this picturesque village. There are a few bars in town, as well as a fantastic butcher, a first-rate post office, and a wide variety of groceries and other goods. The nearby communities of Myddfai, Capel Gwynfe, and Bethlehem are also worth exploring. The nearby town of Myddfai is well-known for its " Physicians" and their use of herbal treatments and also the Myddfai Tourist Information Centre, which serves sandwiches and regional foods. There is a lovely church at Capel Gwynfe that dates back to 1898, and the town is also a popular starting point for bikers and hikers because of its proximity to the Black Mountain. To the south of Llangadog, on a hilltop, is the small town of Bethlehem, which is most well-known for its Iron Age hill fort and its franking of Christmas cards. Adding to the allure is a trip to one of the surrounding mediaeval castles, such as Dinefwr or Carreg Cennen. Further afield you may see the gardens of Aberglasney and The National Botanical garden of Wales, as well as a plethora of stunning sandy beaches and cliff hikes.

Famous for its choirs, stunning mountain ranges and beautiful valleys, this wonderful country has something for everyone. From Snowdonia in North Wales to the Brecon Beacons and the Pembrokeshire Coast in the South.
