Located south-east of Stoke-on-Trent in Staffordshire, England, Tean is a thriving community. The River Tean flows through the community on its way to Uttoxeter in the east. Upper Tean (the larger of the two villages) and Lower Tean (the smaller of the two) are part of the Checkley ward in Staffordshire Moorlands.
