It makes the ideal site to stay, surrounded by rolling hills and lovely countryside, with thousands of hectares of moors and forest, several public pathways, and the well-known Scalby Beck, which weaves its way to the ocean. Local produce is sold in a weekly farmers market hosted in the grounds of St. Lawrence's Church Rooms. Scalby is a delightful hideaway after a busy day out, with Scarborough's superb, sandy beaches, good restaurants, and vibrant town centre right on the doorstep!
