Ruswarp is well-equipped, with a local pub serving hand-pulled real ales, a village shop, and a well-known butcher. The Esk Valley Walk runs through the village, and it's only a 25-minute walk to Whitby's town centre. Ruswarp has a daily bus service, and steam locomotives travel through the single-track railway on a regular basis!
