Between Papworth Everard and Boxworth, there's a charming picture-postcard village called Elsworth. Reverend W. Awdry, the author of the Thomas the Tank Engine stories, once lived in the area. The Fitzwilliam Museum, the Kings University College with its Gothic church, the Cambridge University Botanic Garden, and the Cambridge Gin Laboratory are all within easy reach of the town.
