Nestled at the base of the Lincolnshire Wolds, a region recognised for its exceptional natural beauty, is the picturesque village of Woodhall Spa. Formerly known as a "Inland Resort," today this charming community is home to the English Golf Union and features not one but two championship golf courses. Woodhall Spa has a lot to offer, from a heated outdoor pool and other sports and leisure facilities to woodland walks, a children's play area, and even a small, eccentric cinema that was formerly an original picture theatre in the late 19th century. Tattershall Lakes Country Park, perfect for fishing and watersports, is only a 10-minute drive away, and the antiques mecca of Horncastle is only 6 miles distant. Lincoln, an ancient city, is only 20 miles distant, and the East Coast can be reached in under an hour and a half. Great hiking and biking trails exist in the area, or you can simply kick back and enjoy the peaceful atmosphere of this charming little village.
