The bedrooms consist of a king-size and a single, along with a bathroom. Outside, there is plenty of roadside parking on a first-come, first-served basis. Within 0.1 miles, you will find a shop and a pub. Two well-behaved dogs are welcome. Please note that smoking is not permitted. WiFi, fuel, power, starter pack for woodburning stove, bed linen and towels are all included in the price. The Old Bakery is a wonderful base to explore Northumberland and the Scottish Borders.

Wooler is a charming, medieval market town nestled in the foothills of the Cheviots, a fantastic base for visiting Northumberland and the Scottish Borders. Wooler is a short drive from the historic town of Alnwick, with its famed Castle and Gardens, and the well-preserved Garrison town of Berwick-upon-Tweed, both of which are located on the fringe of the Northumberland National Park. Chillingham Castle, home to a historic herd of wild white cattle, and Coldstream, are just across the Scottish border.

Northumberland is a heady combination of fishing villages, market towns, sandy beaches, magnificent castles and historic Hadrian’s Wall, tied together by beautiful countryside and abundant wildlife.
