Bowness-on-Windmere is a charming village situated on the edge of Lake Windermere, with a large selection of shops and restaurants, as well as a variety of beautiful scenery. The Ship Inn is a local bar with delicious pub food. The World of Beatrix Potter Attraction, Brockhole on Windermere, The Lake District Visitor Centre, National Trust - Hill Top, and Orrest Head Viewpoint are some of the attractions that can all be found in the village.
