The quaint village of Mintlaw may be found in the gorgeous county of Aberdeenshire, just a short distance from the lively town of Peterhead and the serene east coast. Mintlaw, a small town in the Scottish Highlands, is home to a number of classic country pubs, as well as a handful of excellent restaurants and shops, including a number of well-stocked convenience stores. In addition to the intriguing exhibitions of agricultural history at Aberdeenshire Farming Museum, and Aden Country Park, which includes an arboretum and the ruins of a ruined mansion, there are several surrounding activities to keep you busy.

From the lush green farmlands of the Borders to the ruggedness of the Highlands, the Scots are proud of their land and identity. Scotland also has some of Britain’s best beaches with glorious stretches of clean sand over which to roam.
