Located fewer than 25 miles from Norwich, Watton is a well-serviced market town in Breckland. The 'Babies in the Wood' are rumoured to have been abandoned in Wayland Wood in this town, which is well located to access all of Norfolk and North Suffolk. On the town sign, you'll see a hare and two babies jumping over a barrel to represent the town's name: wat is the dialect term for hare, and tonne is the dialect word for barrel. You may get fresh seafood and veggies at the weekly market held every Wednesday, as well as two major grocery stores and a number of smaller shops and eateries.
